The goal of this seminar series is to facilitate weekly communication between the nuclear and particle physicists in the department, both from experiment and theory. Although the research interests of these groups are different, many of the tools and approaches are similar. In science it is often useful and productive to see a new perspective of a given subject. To achieve that for the benefit of all participants, the speakers are encouraged to prepare the talks with the non-expert audience in mind.
