Search for Baryon Number Violation
from an Experimental Point of
View
Limits on proton decay have served to constrain theoretical extensions to the Standard Model. I will review why we expect proton decay, the problem with anti-matter, and our fallen conservation laws. I will also report on the experimental limits. I will then turn to a more speculative idea of searching for baryon number violation in the strange sector. At this point the seminar may become a discussion.
