Physics 116a: Final Exam Information (Spring 2008)

- The final exam will be worth 200 points, consisting of 20 Multiple Choice
questions (Part I) and 4 worked out problems (Part II). As with the in class
exams, the final exam will be open notebooks, but closed textbook.
- There will be 10 Multiple Choice questions related to Chapters 1 to 12,
worth 5 points each. There will be two worked out problems related to
Chapters 1 to 12, worth 25 points each with partial credit.
- There will be 10 Multiple Choice questions related to Chapters 13 to 20,
worth 5 points each. There will be two worked out problems related to
Chapters 13 to 20, worth 25 points each with partial credit.
- Chapter-by-chapter review sheets for the
exam
- Suggested end-of-chapter problems for Chapters 13 to 20 (solutions are posted in the Oak Assignments area).
