Olympic National Park (Quinalt Rain Forest)

These photographs were taken during a 5 day backpacking trip up the East fork of the Quinault river. This is a temperate rain forest on the Olympic penninsula. The final destination was Enchanted Valley, which is a rather small valley adjacent to a 4000' cliff populated by many small but tall waterfalls.

Olympic National Park (Coastal Region)

In addition to the mountainous regions and rain forests, Olympic National Park has a very long wilderness coastline. These pictures were all taken in that area on a day hike.
